The General Committee of the Blackburn Tennis Club Inc are delighted to announce that we have recruited Daniel Byrnes as our new Club Coach.
Daniel will commence coaching at the club in Term 1 2016.
Daniel has coached at all levels for many years from when he first started coaching with his dad as a teenager.
More recently Daniel has been working as a senior coach at Tennis World Melbourne Park.
Daniel has played Division 1 college tennis in the USA and still represents Kooyong in Tennis Victoria Premier League pennant.
In the coming weeks further information will be available on our club website and flyers will be available at the club also prior to the Xmas break.

Well done to Josh Charles, Aidyn Malojer & Nick Bowers on being selected as part of the 2016 Australian Open Ballkid team. This is the first time in many years that we have had three players currently representing the Club in competition qualify in the same year. Over 2,500 boys & girls applied and after some trials and several training sessions a team of ~ 380 kids were selected. No doubt the boys will enjoy being part of one of the biggest tennis tournaments in the world and Australia's most popular annual international sporting event.
