Our AGM is scheduled to be held at 7:30pm on Monday 9th of September.
All members are welcome to attend. The committee welcomes new volunteers to assist with the management of the Club. Any member who may be interested in volunteering to join our committee should contact the Club President for further information. After the AGM there will be complimentary Wine & Cheese!!! >>>agm2019.pdf As advised to members recently we have received approval from the City of Whitehorse to replace our current end of life court lighting installation with a LED lighting installation.
Works are scheduled to commence in ~mid to late June 2019 (to be confirmed) Members will be advised in due course of any necessary court closures during the project. At this stage we expect the courts to be unavailable during the July school holidays as a minimum. >>>btc_members_update_march_2019_-_led_court_lighting_project.pdf In the 2018/2019 ERT Summer season we had 11 of our 16 Junior teams qualify for the semi-finals. The semi-finalists were as follows: Sat am – OR 6, OR12, OR14, BSD6 & GSD4 Sun am – GSD1, GSD3, OR6, BSD3, JDC1 Blue & JDC2 The following teams went on to qualify for the the Grand Finals: Sat am – OR12 (Premiers), Sun am – OR6 (Premiers), GSD1 (Premiers), BSD3, JDC1 Blue Congratulations to all junior players for representing our club so well throughout the season. Thanks also to the parents who supported & organised our teams throughout the season. We have 11 teams competing in the current ERT Junior Winter season. Sunday 17th February from ~1pm to ~4pm

Membership Discounts available throughout February 2019. >>>>2019 BTC OPEN DAY_Feb_2019 Our Tuesday night Blackburn "Ball Bashers" were our only premiership night team for the second season in a row!! After winning the Tuesday Section 14 AUTUMN premiership earlier in 2018, the Ball Bashers finished off the year by winning the Section 12 SPRING season premiership. Congratulations to Darren Reddy & his team:  In the 2017/2018 ERT Summer season we had 9 of our 17 Junior teams qualify for the semi-finals with 6 teams making the Grand-Final. Four teams went on to win the Summer Premiership: Saturday OR12 & OR18, Sunday GSD1 & OR2. In the 2018 ERT Winter Season we had 10 of our 14 junior teams and 1 senior team qualify for the finals. Eight teams went on to qualify for the Grand-Final with 4 teams winning the Premiers: Saturday OR7, OSD4 & BSD6. Sunday BSD3 were also Premiers. In the 2018 Autumn BDNTA season we had only one Premiership team: Blackburn Ball Bashers - Tuesday Section 14. Well done to all our teams!! In the second half of 2017 teams from across our club won premierships in three different association competitions. Juniors: In the 2017 Eastern Region Tennis Winter season we had 6 junior teams qualify for the Grand-Final and 5 went on to win their section. The junior premiership teams were Saturday BSD4, OR15, OR18 & GSD6. In the Sunday morning competition our BDD6 team won the flag. Our Saturday morning Open Sets 5 team were runners-up after losing a very close match against Greythorn Park. Mid-Week Ladies: In the 2017 MEMRLTA Winter season our Tuesday ladies won the Section 6 premiership. Night Tennis: We had 27 teams competing in the 2017 BDNTA Spring season across 4 nights each week. Three teams won their section - Monday Ladies Section 7 "Schoolies" , Tuesday Open Section 15 - "KoopaTroopas" and Thursday Open Section 5 - "Rockets". Congratulations to all teams!! Entries are now open for the Eastern Region Tennis summer season Junior Competition.
